Peach Coconut Water Smoothie

It’s an absolutely scorcher this week, so it’s so important to stay hydrated.

Coconut water is an excellent drink to have when it’s so hot, not only is it delicious, but it is full of electrolytes helping to keep you hydrated all day long.

Our King Coconut Water is purely the water from the inside of those beautiful, gigantic, golden coconuts that only grow in Sri Lanka. It’s taste is completely different to other coconut waters you will try! And it is in a glass bottle, so kinder on the environment than those in plastic.

While it’s delicious & refreshing any time of day, even with a splash of gin in the evening 😉, I really like adding it in to my breakfast smoothie. And this one is basically summer in a glass.

Handy hint: a day or so before you embark on this ‘recipe’, slice up some peaches, skin & all, & pop them in the freezer. Frozen peaches are the key here.

So, how to?

What you need:

2 cups frozen peach slices

1 bottle coconut water

1 Medjool Date, pitted

1 Tbsp coconut nectar

pinch of salt

1/2 – 1 cups ice

What to do:

Add all the ingredients, except for the ice, to a blender. Blend until smooth. Add the ice, bit by bit, until you reach your desired frostiness consistency.

That’s it!
